Favorite Artist Quote:

“He who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist.”

Other Creations

This is my first parody. It is based off of Rebecca Black's  "Friday."

Below are jack-o-lanterns that my family carved over the past couple of halloweens.

This is my jack-o-lantern for 2012; 'Gizmo' from the movie "Gremlins."

This was my Dad's jack-o-lantern; 'Sweet Tooth."

This was my brother, Jarod's jack-o-lantern; 'Mater' from Disney's "Cars."

This is the pumpkin (or Jack-o-lantern) I carved in 2011; 'Captain Jack Sparrow' from "Pirates of the Caribbean." This was my first time shaving a pumpkin. It was challenging, but I had a lot of fun with it. The closer I carved in to the pumpkin, the more shading and detail I could create.

While I was at camp in 2012, I had the opportunity to help create this mosaic mural for Orlando's newest children's hospital. It was cool to see that so many different colors and shapes create one image. I got to create the cardinal, and a few of the plants. I would definitely recommend trying something like this.

One of my favorite masses of the year is Palm Sunday, and no mass seems as beautiful as mass at St. Joseph's in Raleigh. Below are some photos of the cross we used in procession today. It is completely made out of bamboo and palm branches, and was made by one of our parishioners last night.
